The History of Kalamazoo Tank and Saw Industries (KTS)

Kalamazoo Tank and Saw Industries (KTS) was founded in 1867. The Factory originally produced only windmills and then branched off into a variety of agricultural implements like Silos & Feeding Troughs. In 1939 KTS Factory began manufacturing the Original Metal-Cutting Kalamazoo Bandsaws, which provided Farmers a superior farming tool that enabled users to cut and shred feed for silage. As of that date an Industry Saw Icon was born, all of which resulted by combining developed manufacturing strengths, technical know-how and Keen foresight, to replace its dying product lines with the New Kalamazoo Metal Saws. After many years the Kalamazoo saw division was sold in 1994 to the Metalworking industry giant Clausing Industrial, established in 1911, creating the world famous Clausing Kalamazoo Saw line.

Over the years, our Kalamazoo Saw Service Department developed a Highly Skilled and Factory Trained Customer Service Team of Dedicated Repair Specialists.
